Hello, I'm back from busy life... just returned to add missing fun in life. Last month I was busy checking with my 4 string & 5 string bass guitar. I need to set-up propoerly so that my playing will be better nor ease at fingers. I searched over the net for a guitar tech (Luthier) to set-up my units but need more time to go the their shop. So, i decided to do with myself since i was a maintenance before & have experience in electronics. I just checked Youtube to get the details for doing this. and found a great reference from Elixir Strings Sir John Carruthers which he shows the proper ways of adjustment from truss rod to intonation. Kindly check the videos as below.
I'd collected all the necessary tools for the repair then watch a couple of times then i've done fixing my guitar. i learned a lot from him. Thanks & big help for key learnings. Next is changing pots (potentiometers). I still need missing boost pots which is difficult to purchase in music/electronic store. Waiting for online order delivery. ~credit to Sir John, Elixir Strings, YouTube.

Windows 10 replaces Internet Explorer with Microsoft Edge, a
brand-new browser that's much more secure.
Month after month, year after year, on each Patch Tuesday
Microsoft had to release fixes for Internet Explorer. Without these patches,
the browser was vulnerable to various attacks that could allow malefactors to
steal personal information and execute their own nasty code inside IE.
Microsoft's developers have a novel solution for that problem—give IE the axe!
Initially called Project Spartan, Microsoft Edge is
the new browser for Windows 10. Nothing's perfect, but Microsoft Edge
eliminates many IE features that made the previous browser so prone to
exploitation. Trend Micro analyst Henry Li summarized these improvements in a blog
post, and it's a great read for security wonks. But for those who wouldn't know
a CVE exploit from a CVS drugstore, here's a higher-level view.
Memory Care for All
In order to accomplish anything at all on a victim's PC,
malware writers must find some way to get their own code running. Viruses,
Trojans, and such are relatively simple-minded solutions, easily blocked by use
of any powerful antivirus utility. A much more effective (and more
difficult) approach is to somehow insert the attack code inside a
trusted program, and the browser is a great target.
Over the years, modern Windows features like Data Execution
Prevention (DEP) and Address Space Layout Randomization (ASLR) have eliminated
many simple techniques for injecting malicious code into programs. With easy
exploits off the table, malefactors had to devise new, trickier attack modes.
One in particular, called Use After Free (UAF), has been a thorn in the side of
IE for years.
Program needs to store information for a time, it allocates
the necessary amount of memory, then frees it when that memory is no longer
needed. In a UAF attack, the malicious code manipulates a memory block that's
already been freed. Most of the time such an action would simply crash the
program, but in certain situations it can result in executing arbitrary code.
Trend Micro's blog post goes into great detail on exactly
how Microsoft Edge blocks UAF attacks, even to the point of illustrating the
process with a flow chart. In simple terms, the browser watches about-to-be-freed
memory blocks that are still linked elsewhere and simply refrains from freeing
those blocks. In general, given the choice of letting malicious code execute or
just crashing, Microsoft Edge will terminate the browser as rapidly as
possible.
No More Toolbars For years, Internet Explorer has offered Protected Mode, which isolates the
browser's memory space from other processes, making attacks very difficult.
However, common add-ins like toolbars and Browser Helper Objects (BHOs) didn't
work in Protected Mode, so it was disabled by default.
Microsoft Edge solves this problem with one cut—it
eliminates all support for those toolbars, BHOs, and other add-ins that don't
work in Protected Mode, which is now the default operating mode. Microsoft has
plans to add a Chrome-like extension model, with only pre-approved extensions
permitted, but that model isn't ready yet.
Other technologies are also on the chopping block, like
VBscript, ActiveX, and Java. Java, in particular, has provided the bad guys
with oceans of security holes. We've been saying for years that everyone should
just disable Java unless there's a very specific need for it.
Overall, Microsoft's aim has been to eliminate easy points
of entry for hackers, even if it means eliminating backward compatibility and
legacy features. It's an excellent aim, and I hope it succeeds. Of course, no
software is perfect. Trend Micro's Li assures us that the changes will
introduce new opportunities for attack, and that he'll document them when they
turn up. I'll be watching for that post.

Bombs go off around me
Bullets chase my head
Demonscene hellscape
Try to not get dead
From the cradle I was in
Straight for the firing line
By the teeth of my skin
Dragon and the serpent versus swine
Never quite ready
It just becomes your turn
Evertight steady
No more light to burn
A lie has no feet
Cannot stand alone
A cry in the street
Who cast the first stone
With dirt between my teeth
I made the devil sell his soul
I know that he can bleed
Moon goes dark sun grows cold
Where my mind would take me
Never coming near
Scared my heart would break me
Why am I here
ChicoSci (often typeset as Chicosci) is a 5-piece Filipinorock band based in Manila. The band is composed of Miggy Chavez, Mong Alcaraz, Calde Calderon, Macoy Estacio and Ariel Lumanlan.
Three years since the release of their last studio album and after endless gigging and touring, Chicosci is finally releasing their much-anticipated sixth album, This Is Not A Chicosci Record. The ever-so-dynamic rock group has been in the lab the past year, writing and recording new material with producer Eric Perlas of Tower of Doom Studios, and is set to make waves again with this new album under MCA Music Inc.
Always evolving with each album, the band has once again pushed themselves creatively with this new outing. Chicosci wants their listeners to be devoid of any preconceived notions of who the band is or how they should sound like. “It’s shouldn’t be important who the artist is,” says singer Miggy Chavez. “We hope people like the album because it’s good music and not because it’s Chicosci. And if people don’t like the record, we hope it’s because they actually listened to it and hated the music or (not like it) because it’s OPM.” The album features 14 tracks including the first single “Stealing Kisses”, the feel-good “Raspberry: Girl” and the rock ballad “Sleep Station”.
This Is Not A Chicosci Record contains 14 tracks including the first single “Stealing Kisses”, the feel-good “Raspberry: Girl” and the rock ballad “Sleep Station”. The album will be available digitally via iTunes and My Music Store.
Sonny John Moore (born January
15, 1988), better known by his stage nameSkrillex, is an American electronic
musician and singer-songwriter. Raised in Northeast Los Angeles and in Northern California, Moore joined the American post-hardcore
band From First to Last as the lead singer
in 2004, and recorded two studio albums with the band (Dear Diary, My Teen Angst Has a Body
Count, 2004, and Heroine, 2006) before
leaving to pursue a solo career in 2007. He began his first tour as a solo
artist in late 2007. After recruiting a new band lineup, Moore joined the Alternative Press Tour to support bands
such as All Time Low
and The Rocket Summer, and appeared on the cover of
Alternative Press' annual "100 Bands You
Need to Know" issue.
After releasing the GypsyhookEP
in 2009, Moore was scheduled to record his debut studio album, Bells, with
producer Noah Shain. However, he ceased production of the album and began
performing under the name Skrillex. After releasing the My Name is Skrillex EP for free download
on his official MySpace
page, he released the Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites
EP in late–2010 and More Monsters and Sprites EP in mid–2011.
Both have since become moderate commercial successes. On November 30, 2011, he
was nominated for a total of five Grammy Awards
at the 54th Grammy Awards, including Best New Artist and won
three: "Best Dance/Electronica Album," "Best Dance
Recording," and "Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical". On
December 5, 2011, the BBC
announced that he had been nominated for their Sound of 2012
poll. On December 12, 2011, he was also
named MTV's
Electronic Dance Music Artist of the Year.
Leaving is the sixth extended play (EP) by American electronic dance musicproducerSkrillex. It was released on January 2nd, 2013 exclusively to members of The Nest (OWSLA's subscription service). The three tracks were also uploaded to Moore's official YouTube channel the following day. The song "Scary Bolly Dub" had previously been played live and circulated through the Internet for approximately a year before being officially released. A mixed version also features on Caspa Presents Dubstep Sessions 2012. The song samples the 2010 tracks Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites and Fucking Die 1. In a personal message to members of The Nest, Moore said that he uses the track "more as a dj tool, but I wanted you guys to have it".The title track was created in Moore's hotel room in Mexico. "The Reason" was finished an hour before release in Moore's hotel room in Miami.
"Sandata" is the first single off the new
album, "Ang Bagong Dugo Sa Lumang Ugat." According to
frontman (and Radio Republic's Rock Bato host) Basti Artadi, 'Bagong
Dugo' "is a story about this corrupt politician and his lineage. His
well-meaning son takes over, starts clean, and ends up becoming exactly like
his father."
The album itself will be released in installments through
a series of EPs. The first EP, subtitled "Unang Kabanata," can now be
purchased digitally via CDBaby.com. CDs will be
available in major outlets soon.
“Unang Kabanata” features four songs, including “Sandata”, which the
band has taken on the road and already built up a cult following for it.
The members of
Kiss and Motley Crue may seem like a wild bunch, but that doesn’t mean they
don’t also have a serious side. Now, both Kiss and Motley Crue are offering
some financial help to those affected by the recent movie theater shooting in
Aurora, Colo.
The bands
announced earlier this week at a gig in Englewood, Colo., that they will be
giving $100,000 to the Aurora Victim Relief Fund. The fund was created to offer
help to victims who were affected when suspected gunman James Holmes allegedly
started shooting in a filled movie theatre on July 20 during a midnight showing
of Batman’s latest movie, “The Dark Knight Rises.”
“We hope that
our small gesture helps inspire others to band together in compassion and
financial support for all involved in this unspeakable tragedy,” Paul Stanley
of Kiss said in an official statement.
“We bonded
together with our tour partners and friends Kiss to donate money, but we also
hope it inspires others to do the same, no matter how big or small,” added
Motley Crue’s Nikki Sixx in a statement.
Those interested
in offering funds to the victims of the Aurora, Colo., shooting may visitGivingFirst.org and donate any amount. Twelve lives
were claimed and 58 were injured at the midnight viewing at an Aurora theater.
James
Alan Hetfield, vocalist and guitarist of the thrash Metallica, is one of the
icons of the hard rock of the past 26years. His musical training owes much to
great heroes of the melodic music-- unbelievably and, obviously, to renowned
characters of hard rock. On this occasion, Hetfield revealed to Rolling Stone
magazine your personal playlist and offered brief reflections on each track.
Ironically, the
voice of Metallica (indeed, a defining voice of his rock n' roll generation)
very nearly wasn't a voice at all, simply because in the early days, James
Hetfield didn't fancy being a lead vocalist. Metallica tried a few different
vocal/guitar configurations. Some of the options considered included adding
another guitar player, having then-lead guitar player Dave Mustaine play the
sole guitar and asking John Bush from Armored Saint to sing for the band. Of
course common sense prevailed, James decided to fight harder to establish
himself as a frontman and the results are history.
"Free
Bird" (also spelled "Freebird") is a song by the American
southern rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd. It was first featured on the band's debut
album (Pronounced 'Lĕh-'nérd 'Skin-'nérd) in 1973, and has been included on subsequent albums released by the band.
Apocalyptic Loveis the secondstudio albumby currentVelvet Revolverand former Guns N' Roseslead guitaristSlash. The album features Slash's band, consisting of
vocalistMyles Kennedy, bassistTodd Kerns, and drummerBrent Fitz(collectively referred to as "Myles Kennedy and
the Conspirators"). Produced byEric Valentine, it was released on May 22, 2012.
Slash began
working on his second solo album in June 2011, and that December, three songs —
"Halo," "Standing in the Sun," and "Bad Rain" —
had been recorded. Slash described the new material as "very heavy."The album was finished in February
2012 and was given a May 22, 2012, release date.The first single, "You're a
Lie," was released to rock radio on February 27, 2012; a 30-second preview
of the song was released online with this announcement.Slash released the track listing for
the album on March 5, 2012. Myles, who wrote the lyrics, has said
that some of the lyrics on the album are about his past experiences with being
addicted to drugs.
On March 26, 30 second samples from
"Apocalyptic Love" were made available on Amazon.com. The lead intro riff for
"Anastasia" takes inspiration fromJohann Sebastian Bach'sToccata and Fugue in D minor, which Slash interpolates live in his
version of "Speak Softly Love".

Purple’s benchmark 1972 release, “Machine Head.” The collection will be

The album,
“Re-Machined: A Tribute to Machine Head,” will offer cover versions of all of
the tracks on the original album performed by Metallica, Iron Maiden, the

Jacoby Shaddix, Def Leppard’s Joe Elliott, Chickenfoot, Carlos Santana, former
Deep Purple bass player Glenn Hughes, guitarist Steve Vai and ex-Guns N’ Roses
members Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum.

the Water” and “Highway Star.” Shaddix and Santana put their spin on one

Ang bugso
nitong damdamin, ang bukas na nasa akin
Dapat di maging
alipin, sa unos na dulot nila.
Di na ‘ko
hahamakin, at aking lilisanin
Ang lugar na
madilim, dahil kasama na kita.
At di na mabigat
ang krus na aking pasan
Bigla nang
gumaan, merong kahulugan.
Di na mahapdi,
ang pako sa kamay,
Nabuhay na muli,
ang puso kong patay
Nag-iisa sa
laban, walang tunay na pangalan
Dulot ay
kawalan, at walang nais umintindi
Di na
mangangamba, wala nang nanaisin pa
Sa bawat
sandali, pananalig tumitindi
Oras nang iwanan
‘to, ika’y hinanap ko at nagtagpo
Hanggang maging
abo, ito’y pangako ko
Hawak ko ang
iyong kamay, sa buhay ko’y tanging gabay
Hanggang maging
abo, ito’y pangako ko
Di mawawala sa
isip ko
Pinapangako ko
ito
Sisirain ang
bawat harang
Pagsasama na
walang patlang
Di pa to ang
katapusan
Ako’y nakahawak
sa iyong kamay
Walang
pagsisising ako ay naghintay
Nakaukit sa ‘kin
ang pangalan mo
Ako at ikaw
hanggang maging abo
Oras nang iwanan
‘to, ika’y hinanap ko at nagtagpo
